HEY LOS ANGELES

~ The final destination on my American Travels ~

Day Twenty Eight ~ Left chilly San Francisco and arrived in sunny Los Angeles, the weather was goooooooood we then hopped in an Uber straight to our hotel. Dumped our stuff and headed straight to In-N-Out burger in Sunset Boulevard, grabbed a feed, explored a little and eventually headed to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, had a little look at the shops n stars then headed home.

Day Twenty Nine ~ Beach day! We started our day exploring Santa Monica walking along the walkway overlooking Santa Monica pier, had a little explore around the pier, had lunch at a nice lil restaurant, eventually hopped back on our hop on hop off bus and made our way to Venice Beach! We started at one end of Venice beach and walked alllll the way down until we eventually spotted the hostel with the famous ‘Venice’ sign, we took some pics and carried on looking at the tacky souvenirs and watched a few street performances. After we’d successfully spent a day exploring both Santa Monica and Venice beach we got in an Uber and headed back to Hollywood.

Day Thirty ~ We started our day on the bus traveling to Rodeo Drive, had a little wander down the street, did some window shopping rather than actual shopping, checked out the Beverly Hills sign and the pretty palm tree filled streets, after we had explored the street we’d seen on Keeping up with the Kardashian’s way too many times we headed to Melrose Ave, grabbed a Starbucks and started a massive afternoon of shopping, (There are so many cool vintage shops and just cool shops in general along Melrose) took some pics next to the famous pink Paul Smith wall and eventually headed to Hollywood Boulevard for some tacky souvenirs, grabbed a bite to eat at Mel’s Diner then headed back to our hotel for sleeps.

Day Thirty one ~ Our last day in Los Angeles :(
We were pretty excited about this day for a long time because we were going Horse riding up and around the Hollywood sign! So our last day was spent Horse riding, beautiful views of LA, insane sunburn and lots of sad faces. After horse riding we headed to the airport to go back to Australia.

&&&&& that concludes my American travels ~ It wasn't nearly long enough, I could've spent many more months exploring America but the dream had to end. I’ll be back USA!

Love Alex
